About the Chagrin Valley Camera Club

2008 CopyrightThe Chagrin Valley Camera Club was founded over 40 years ago, by a group of eager photographers to promote and share their passion of photography.

We pursue these objectives by:

  • Holding meetings to discuss various aspects of photography.
  • Inviting experts to give lectures and/or demonstrations to increase our photographic skills and knowledge base.
  • Conducting field trips to places of photographic interest.
  • Producing a yearly “May” show for the general public where members photographs are judged and exhibited for a month.
  • Conducting 4 to 5  photographic competitions each year to give members an opportunity to show their work, which is judged and critiqued as a test of their photographic skills. (2011-2012 CVCC Competition Rules)
